TV programme “中醫藥旗艦展新篇”
The Health Bureau, the Department of Health and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) jointly produced a documentary titled “中醫藥旗艦展新篇”, which documented the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong. The documentary (Cantonese version) will be broadcasted in two episodes on consecutive Sundays, May 24th and 31st, 2026 at 7:30 PM on RTHK TV Channel 31. With the commencement of operations of the first Chinese medicine hospital in Hong Kong “The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong” and the permanent building of the “Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute” in December 2025, the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong has reached a new milestone. The documentary showcases Hong Kong's progress in Chinese medicine clinical services, teaching and training, Chinese medicines testing, and formulation of reference standards, opening a new chapter for Hong Kong's Chinese medicine on the international stage.
