20th Anniversary of the Science in the Public Service Campaign – Science and Technology Fair

2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the Science in the Public Service Campaign, with the theme “20 Years of Science in the Public Service: Improving Livelihood through Science and Innovation”. The Department of Health, together with various government departments and partner organisations, will jointly organise the Science and Technology Fair at the Special Exhibition Hall of the Hong Kong Science Museum from 25 to 27 September 2026, open for free admission to the public.

The Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute (GCMTI) under the Department of Health will introduce the principles of Chinese medicines testing in an accessible manner through exhibition displays, hands-on experiment activities, and interactive booth games. You are cordially invited to visit our booth and discover how the science of testing is applied to Chinese medicines. You will also receive limited event souvenirs designed by the GCMTI after completing the activities and games.
