Advisory Committee

• Background

  • The GCMTI Advisory Committee serves as a platform for stakeholders to advise GCMTI on strategies, measures and specific proposals that are conducive to its continuous development. Membership includes representatives from the Government, Chinese medicine sector, academia, and the International Advisory Board of Hong Kong Chinese Materia Medica Standards.

• Terms of Reference

  The Advisory Committee is to:
  • advise on the development strategy and priority areas of the GCMTI in order to bring the Chinese medicines industry of Hong Kong towards internationalisation;
  • foster GCMTI’s collaboration with local, regional and international research partners to promote the use of Chinese medicines reference standards and testing methods; and
  • set up Task Force(s) and/or Technical Support Group(s) on a need basis for focused discussion or consultation on specific topics.
